‘Worship on Waves’ (WoW) is based on the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ as written in Matthew 28: 18-20 and on John Wesley’s principle, “the world is my parish.”

In English:

“Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All the authority of the universe has been given to me.  Now wherever you go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  And teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (TPT).

In Yoruba:

“Jesu wá sọ́dọ̀ wọn, ó sọ fún wọn pé, “A ti fún mi ní gbogbo àṣẹ ní ọ̀run ati ní ayé. Nítorí náà kí ẹ lọ sọ gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè di ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn mi; kí ẹ máa ṣe ìrìbọmi fún wọn ní orúkọ Baba ati ti Ọmọ ati ti Ẹ̀mí Mímọ́.  Ẹ máa kọ́ wọn láti kíyèsí gbogbo nkan tí mo pa láṣẹ fun yín.
